YO twice, insert hook in st indicated,
YO and pull up a loop (4 loops on
hook), (YO and draw through 2 loops
on hook) 3 times.
SINGLE CROCHET 2 TOGETHER

Pull up a loop in each of next
2 ch-3 sps, YO and draw through all
3 loops on hook.
CENTERRnd 1: Using smaller size hook and

facing, join White with sc around

MEDIUM CURLIQUEWith Bulky Weight yarn, using larger
size hook, and leaving a long end for
attaching, ch 44.
Row 1: 3 Sc in second ch from hook

SMALL CURLIQUEWith Bulky Weight yarn, using larger
size hook, and leaving a long end for
attaching, ch 22.
Row 1: 3 Sc in second ch from hook

Make various sizes of pom-poms to
cover wreath form and arrange as
desired.
To attach a pom-pom, thread a yarn
needle with one yarn end used
to form the pom-pom. Sew the
pom-pom to a wire, inserting needle
through the center of the pom-pom
several times, ending on the front
side of the wreath. Repeat with the
remaining yarn end, ending with the
yarn ends close to each other. Tie the
yarn ends in a knot and trim the ends
to blend with the pom-pom.
Thread a yarn needle with the long
ends of any Curlique and insert it
through a wooden bead. Repeat
with remaining Curliques. Using the
long ends, tie the Curliques to the
wreath form and fluff the yarn ends.
If desired, extra yarn strands can be
tied to the Curliques.

JOINING WITH SCWhen instructed to join with sc,
begin with a slip knot on hook. Insert
hook in space indicated, YO and pull
up a loop, YO and draw through both
loops on hook.
POM-POMCut a piece of cardboard 3" (7.5 cm)
wide and as long as you want the
diameter of your finished pom-pom
to be.
Wind the yarn around the cardboard
until it is approximately ½" (12 mm)
thick in the middle (Fig. 1a).
Carefully slip the yarn off the
cardboard and firmly tie an 18"
(45.5 cm) length of yarn around the
middle (Fig. 1b). Leave yarn ends long
enough to attach the pom-pom. Cut
the loops on both ends and trim the
pom-pom into a smooth ball (Fig. 1c).
