This course will teach a brief history and basics of the ins and outs of theatrical

production. From lighting, stage design, set construction, costuming, prop

management, sound, stage management and theatrical terminology. Great course for

anyone who is not 100% comfortable performing in front of an audience, but loves

theatre! Course will culminate in an end of year production working together with the

drama class.

Materials: Extra fees for costumes and scripts. TBD

Students will learn the techniques of acting and theatre appreciation. Here students

will develop skills such as teamwork, skills in public speaking and articulation, theater

vocabulary, improvisation and character development, and singing. There will be at

least two performances this year.
