•Dragon DHA utilizes “AutoDHAElite.exe” and AutoDHAElite.ini to operate effectively with the exported CDF file from EZChrom in an automated application

•Dragon DHA relies on the AutoDHAElite.ini File to determine the location and final filename of the exported sample results

•The AutoDHAElite.ini file must be edited to reflect the specific information for the application:• CDFFolder= (This is the folder where ezchrom method exports cdf’ files)• CDFExtension= (This is the file extension given by ezchrom for cdf’exports)

•This is usually “DAT-” followed by the name of the detector and then followed by “.CDF”•Example: “DAT-FID-1.CDF”

• TimeDelaySecs= (This is the Delay in seconds before post-run execution to ensure all data files have been written to the hard drive prior to execution of AutoDHAElite.exe)

• EZChrom Method Setup is the same as Manual Analysis with the following additional modifications (Next Slide)

After Export:

In a single user application, the After Export entry is usually “C:\Program

Files\DHA Application Software\AutoDHAElite.exe”.

In a Client/Server application, the folder points to the Acquisition

Server’s DHA Folder.)

Additional Parameters Format:

"<RefFileName>" "NoApp" "AUTO" "<PathToCDFFiles>”

Where:

“<RefFileName>” is the full path and filename of the DHA reference that will be used to analyze this sample.

“NoApp” is a placeholder used by AutoDHAElite.exe and is usually laft as is.

“AUTO” informs Dragon DHA that this is an automated analysis.

“<PathToCDFFiles>” is the path entered in the EZChrom export settings



SimDis 2000 Software ConfigurationAutomated Analysis

•SimDis 2000 utilizes “EZPostServer.exe” and “EZPostSim.ini” to operate effectively with the exported CDF file fromEZChrom in an automated application

•SimDis 2000 relies on the EZPostSim.ini file to determine the location and final filename of the exported sample results

•The EZPostSim.ini file must be edited to reflect the specific information for the application:

• CDFDatapath = This is the folder where ezchrom method exports cdf’ files

• CDFNameAppend = This is the file extension given by ezchrom for cdf’exports

•This is usually “DAT-” followed by the name of the detector and then followed by “.CDF”

•Example: “DAT-FID-1.CDF”

• ProgramDir = This is the Program folder for Simdis for this instrument/detectorExample:

•ProgramDir=C:\Elite\Projects\D3710_1\D3710F\(Make sure to put the ending “\” on the program directory)

Advanced applications of Envantage software within EZChromDHA Custom Reporting and LIMS Integration

Dragon DHA reports can be configured to include custom results

that are not in the standard report

CSV and Tab Delimited Files can be selected in addition to the

standard report output and can be placed in a specific folder for import

into LIMS

Formulas can be created that provide additional information to

both the standard and custom report outputs




CSV and Tab Delimited output can be configured with selectable levels of detail to accommodate

most LIMS parsing programs




Formulas can be created that provide expanded results that are not included in the standard report output. Formulas that are selected in the reference are automatically reported in both the standard and custom output

formats.
