For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven: A time to be born and a time to die… ~Eccelesiastes 3:1-3 Fannie Mae Hill Tobler, was born on September 2, 1929 to the late Mr. Frank and Viola Hill of Byron, Georgia. She grew up in Byron, Georgia and attended and graduated from Houston County Public School. She went to become a CAN at Goodwill Nursing Home for over 27 years. At an early age Fannie gave her life to God, becoming a member of First Baptist Church of Toomersville, Georgia. She was brought up in a God fearing household and was taught to always give thanks to God for her blessings. She was a praying women who loved to sing the old Church Hymnsand always loved God first. She was a strong believer in the family unit and worked hard to keep her family together. For a family that prays together stays together. Fannie was married to the late Mallie Tobler on February 6, 1953 and to this union one son was born, the late Mr. Walter Lee Tobler. She often referred to him as her baby even at the age of 57. They had such a loving and divested relationship. Mrs. Fannie passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015. Our grandmother is finally reunited with the love of her life- Mallie Tobler husband of 53 years and her BabyWalter Lee Tobler. The Hill Supreme Sistersare dancing for joy in that land of Milk and Honeyas well as her brothers and parents. She is survived by her brother Willie GritHill of Byron, Georgia, a very devoted and loving daughter-n-law Mary (Eason) Tobler, of Macon, GA, George Tobler (brother-n- law) of Atlanta, GA, Willie (Annie Mae) Talton of Warner Robins, Georgia, sister-n- law Rosalee Williams, Addie Lee Roundtree both of Valdosta, Georgia, Elenova (Amos) Wynn of Warner Robins, Georgia. She also leaves to cherish her memories four grandchildren: Leslye (Chris) Barnes of Detroit, Michigan, Shea Tobler, Erik (Karen) Tobler, and Asti (Micaiah Sr.) Howard all of Macon, GA. Her greatest joy in life was enjoying the company of her 8 great grandchildren: Bella Sage Tobler, Micaiah Howard Jr, Miller Lee Tobler, Noah Howard and Carlyle Tobler all of Macon, GA, ShaTonya Barnes of Detroit, Michigan and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
