500g good quality minced beef or lamb
100g breadcrumbs or gluten free rusk
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
Simple Meatball Recipe
20-25 Meatballs
1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees and set out all of your ingredients
as you’re going to get your hands dirty!
2. Add all of your ingredients to a bowl and thoroughly mix until
completely combined - your mix should be quite sticky.
3. Make balls of roughly 25-30g in weight and set on a lightly oiled
baking tray. You should get around 20-25 meatballs from this mix.
4. Place your formed meatballs in the oven for 25 minutes, turning half
way to brown each side equally.
5. Remove from the oven and set aside. Simmer gravy in a saucepan
before adding meatballs and cooking for a further 5 minutes.
Optional- sprinkling of chopped herbs such
as parsley, thyme, basil, oregano
