Workshop Goals1. students will develop some research skills

Basic skills• availability of their research guide and that it is [usually] a

comprehensive starting point• awareness of print and e-reference books for background

reading• power of keyword searching when used effectively• skills in the Tufts catalog and databases• finding text

Advanced skills• thesaurus searching• cited reference searching• multi-database searching• using search alerts
