Dartmouth Princeton Approximately 150 students and
five core teachers per team Teachers meet weekly as an
interdisciplinary team Teachers also participate in weekly

Block Schedule Falcon Days (every Monday) 90 minutes for each required class on
alternating days Gold Days – Blocks 1, 3, and 5, 7, and 8 Black Days – Blocks 2, 4, and 6, 7 and 8 Exploratory (elective) classes meet every
day for 45 minutes during periods 7 & 8

Curriculum: Experimental Design, Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science
Wide variety of instructional strategies & projects: Hands-on labs called Lab-Aids (Life Science,
Earth Science, and Physical Science) Inquiry science is a priority
