Tutoring OpportunitiesAfter School Tutoring
● Tutoring offered through All Stars Program
○ Must be a member of All Stars (free to join)
● Free tutoring for all core subjects Monday-Friday
○ Transportation available on Tuesdays and
Thursdays

● It will run from June 5, 2017 until July 27, 2017.

Advancement Via Individual Determination.
● It is an in school academic support system that prepares
students for college eligibility.
● It acts as a catalyst for schools to develop a culture or
college readiness for all students across the campus.
● The AVID class is based on rigorous standards and its
main components are writing, inquiry, collaboration,
organization, and reading (WICOR).

● It is very important that you concentrate on
getting to your next class instead of spending
time socializing.
● There will not be enough time to do both!

● You are encouraged to use the restroom or get a
drink between classes or during lunch
● You can use the restroom during class by having a
pass from your teacher
○ 10-10 Rule will be enforced (10 minutes after class

students in the hallways unless in case of
emergency)
