Born April 22, 1903to Austrian parents in New York

Dancer with the Metropolitan Opera Ballet 1919-1924

Studied Tailoring in London and worked as fitting model before start of design career in 1929.

Who is Vera Maxwell

Launched her career in 1935 with a goal of making soft tailored suits for ladies.

Worked with several designers including:
