School Values = RIPPA AWARDS
Congratulations to the many students that received a RIPPA Award at Wednesday’s assembly. It was wonderful to see such a large number of students already on their Gold level.
RIPPA’s are achieved by students demonstrating school values which are Respect, Honesty, Caring, Friendship and Responsibility.
Students need fifteen RIPPAS to receive their Bronze level then a further fifteen to receive their Silver and finally after another fifteen they will be awarded their Gold RIPPA Award.
Students still have several weeks at school to go until the end of the year so they have lots of opportunities to demonstrate positive school values and then increase their number of RIPPA’s.

What’s Happening in 5/4C
This term 5/4C have completed a Personal Development Unit on Success. We have had three guest speakers - Jamo Borthwick from Walkin On Water Surf School, Hannah Robinson to speak about her Representative Netball team and Senior Constable Nathan Verinder from the NSW Police Force to talk about their successes.
It was very interesting to hear their advice and replies to our questions. We learnt that working towards a goal takes time and you can always ask for help. We also learnt that if you have a goal that is important to you, you should never give up on it. We felt positive after hearing that these mentors have made mistakes but also learned from them to achieve an excellent result.
