Yo say how old someone is you use tener + age + años.
tener = to have
Ex: Mark tiene treinta años. Mi hermano tiene siete años. Mi tío tiene treinta y nueve años.
YOU CANNOT SAY Mark es treinta. It doesn't make sense in Spanish.
In Spanish you have your age :)
Tener (e>ie) = to have
Tengo = I have
tienes = you have
tiene = he or she has
tenemos = we have
tenéis = yall have
tienen = they have
Notice how the e changes to an ie (e>ie) for all forms but nosotros and vosotros. Also the yo form tengo is irregular. Other than that it has all the regular -er verb endings

Adjectives in Spanish
Make sure your adjectives (descriptive words like good & red) agree in gender and number with the thing it describes:
Ella es simpática. She is nice. (She is a girl thus the adjective simpática ends in an a.)
Marco es ordenado. Marco is organized. (Marco is a boy thus the adjective ordenado ends in an o.)
Same goes for plural adjectives: Ellas son trabajadoras. (There are many hard workinging
girls so we add an s to trabajadoras.) Ellos son talentosos. (There are many talented boys so
we add an s to talentosos.)
