Why is Trust important?
Trust works as an economic lubricant, reducing the transactions costs associated with investments and in this way, promoting new business formation, employment and prosperity.
Zak & Knack report that a 15 percentage point increase in the proportion of people in a country who think others are trustworthy raises income per person by 1 percent per year for every year thereafter. The Zak & Knack (2001) model also predicts that if trust levels are too low, no income growth will occur. The low-trust poverty trap occurs for the countries in their sample when trust falls below 30%.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trust_%28social_sciences%29/

Why is Trust important?
Everything we do, needs trust. If you buy a brand product, you trust the brand. Even paying something seconds before you get it needs trust. Every decision is based on trust ( movie reviews, marriage, …)

In our case he provide us with high value product and social media proposals, without forgetting about the main SEO key issues. Working with him was great for the company and also for us, we could learn a lot about his deep Internet business knowledge. His ability covers the whole range, being able to advise in the more strategic aspects as well as to implement things without forgetting any detail. Great brain and great guy!”Oriol Blasco, CEO Nuroa.com - Goa Internet Services S. L.

Simplicity

One theory he's encountered in his user-experience work: People trust simply designed sites. http://www.Tired.com 's plain-text, unadorned format seems soothing and trustworthy, particularly when compared to the garish, on-the-make look of most sites.

Algorithmic authority
http://www.shirky.com/weblog/2009/11/a-speculative-post-on-the-idea-of-algorithmic-authority/
I used my remarks to observe that one of the things up for grabs in the current news environment is the nature of authority.
In particular, I noted that people trust new classes of aggregators and filters, whether Google or Twitter or Wikipedia (in its ‘breaking news’ mode.)
I called this tendency algorithmic authority.
