About the Program

TOWNSHIP RECYCLINGDROP-OFF PROGRAM

• 41 participating sites in Ottawa, Sandusky and Seneca Counties.• 182 8-yard recycling containers are stationed throughout the District. The program began October 1, 2012.• Residents can access the recycling containers 7 days a week, during daylight hours. • Residents do not need to separate their recyclable materials.• Weights at each location are recorded daily.• Service provided by Republic Services. The material is collected and taken to their Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) located in Oberlin, Ohio and Erie, Michigan. The facilities use single stream recycling to sort materials.
