This   interactive   course   is   for   managers   and  supervisors  who  want  to  create  best  practices  in  time   management   and   setting   priorities   for  them  and  their  team.

Time  Management  Steps    A  leader  is  a  manager,  but  not  every  manager  is  a  leader:  • Invest  the  original  time  to  get  organized  –  plan

your  day    • Schedule  organizing  time  -‐  plan  your  day    • Stay   current   -‐   enter   &   update   information   on

your  computer  daily    • Set  goals  and  priorities  -‐  plan  your  day    • Accomplish  most  important  tasks  first    • Read  goals  everyday    • And  remember…  plan  your  day

Understand  who  and  what  demands  your  time  and  how  to  change  this.  Start  to  address  this  by  asking  yourself  at  the  top  of  every  hour,  “What  is  the  best  use  of  my  time  right  now?”

Time   Bandits:   Anything   that   decreases   your  productivity   and   effectiveness   or   causes   you   to  shift  focus  away  from  your  #1  priority.    • Lack  of  Control  Over  the  Work  Environment    • Lack  of  Self-‐Management    • Lack  of  Planning

A-‐B-‐C-‐D  Values/Importance:  Identify  your  number  priority  and  do  it  first.

 A  Goals:  High  Value/Importance      B  Goals:  Medium  Value/Importance      C  Goals:  Low  Value/Importance      D  Goals:  Delegate
