gala, Woolbrook and Yarrow-
itch, up and performing so it
shows Clinton’s appeal.
Parker astounded us all with
his coordinated moves with
balancing a plate on a pole.
As he rose from a prone po-
sition on the floor, rolled over
and bounced to a standing
position we all willed the
plate to stay on the plate,. It
did!
As we head off for our spring
break, I encourage you to
enjoy your ‘kid time’. Your
children are very special and
so look forward to spending
leisurely time with you. Chat,
play, dance, sing, read, snug-
gle and laugh and show them
how special they are. TV,
DVD’s and IT games may be
easy but they rob you of the
many rewards you deserve.
Keep Smiling!
We are down to the final
week of term and Parker,
Emily, Phoebe and Charlotte
are showing us little gems of
information about their learn-
ing everyday.
Parker happily accepting
advice on how to make his
writing more interesting by
adding additional details.
Phoebe quietly putting her
head down and determinedly
writing a complete piece in-
dependently. Charlotte trying
to write a sentence ‘all by
herself’. Emily, casually say-
ing, “oh yeah, it’s one of
those rules ci makes an s
sound when wanting to spell
circus”.
They are all enthusiastically
using their skills and Tracey
and I are enthusiastically
applauding each one.
The DEC instability at the
moment may be causing us
some unwanted frustrations
but working with our happy
little vegemite's each day
certainly reminds us why we
love teaching.
Our two Small Schools Days
were resounding successes.
The New Zealand author,
Craig Smith, captured every-
one’s hearts, with his colour-
ful renditions of his popular
books. Nowendoc, captured
Craig’s heart; rising early he
spotted a platypus and our
koala mum and bub bid him
good bye. He hopes this will
fuel his enthusiasm for a
book idea, which has been
bubbling away - Ko-ality
Time.
Clinton and his Circus Skills
had everyone up and testing
their abilities. It is the first
time that we have seen the
visiting teachers, from Nian-

Soccer
Soccer Competition Awards As you can see, Nicholas, Emily and Parker, were very proud recipients of
their Participation/Encouragement Trophies.
Each Saturday during winter they have travelled between Armidale and
Walcha to join with new friends to play in the local Soccer Competition.
The purchase of soccer goals at school enabled Emily and Parker to prac-
tise their skills and for all of us to have fun.
