ANNOUNCEMENTS
Rev. Terence Erbele and Rev. Evelyn Erbele are the current Western Jurisdiction Mission Advocates with the General Board of Global Ministries. In this current position, they are responsible for helping to get the word out about all of the work that the General Board of Global Ministries does across the world. Prior to this they have served in various capacities through The United Methodist church across the globe in places such as Nigeria and Russia and, most recently, in Alaska. They will both be joining us in worship today and also after the service in the Fellowship Hall . Coming to the Masterpiece Festival? Don’t forget to stop and pick up some lovely craft items and baked goods from St. Mark’s United Methodist Women. The Craft Sale is in the Church Library and the Bake Sale is in rooms 17/18 on Saturday, November 3. The monies raised from this sale go to Missions. Ready for some good Mexican food? Join the Over 50s at El Molinito, 3675 W Ina Road ( Ina and Mere-dith) on Tuesday, November 6th, at 11:30am. Please give Dottie Snyder a call (no text) at 520-888-9528 to reserve your spot and be sure to come hungry. Be sure and stop in the courtyard TODAY to check out our LOGO SHOP! We have many wonderful household products for sale and you may order shirts and caps with our St. Mark’s logo. The holidays are coming and most of us know that stress abounds and disagreements in families can escalate. How can the pattern be different this year? Come, learn, and laugh with Kathleen Kirk, life and communication coach who will be at St. Mark's Nov.10 from 2:00-3:30p.m .in the Fellowship Hall. Don't let yourself get trapped into arguing, yelling or having hurt feelings. Learn how to reduce your stress and make the holidays filled with more joy. (Sponsored by Church and Society) All Saints service is next Sunday, November 4th. Stop by the table in the courtyard to fill out a memorial card to tie on the Bell Banner. The banner will be processed into the Sanctuary next Sunday to remember our lost loved ones. Enjoy an artful performance by our own pianist Lira Makarova and flautist Renee Bond TODAY in the Sanctuary at 3:00 p.m. You are invited to a post reception, in Fellowship Hall. This is a free concert for all; a freewill offering will be appreciated for the artists at the reception. “Our Hands, God’s Work...Responding in Faith” 2019 stewardship campaign is underway. While commit-ment Sunday is November 18, you can return your 2019 commitment card at any time. Bring it to the church office, or put it in the offering plate. Extra commitment cards are available in the pew racks. Please note: Sign ups for 2019 Altar Flowers & Primavera are now available in the Narthex on the volunteer board. October, November and December are behind the 2018 cards until that month is fin-ished for the year. Thank you to everyone for your gracious and kind giving in the year to come.
