sustainable ecosystems. Examples: hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking,
bird watching. Now a multi-billion dollar industry worldwide.

between ecosystems that are separated geographically.
Example: protection for migrating birds across the Can-US border.

Paradigm A view of the world or a way of thinking
about how the world works.
