Safe City
Extending law enforcements reach
Maintaining the city safe has always been a majorchallenge for municipalities and law enforcement
agencies. As crime rates rise, security resources onthe ground never seem to be enough. This reality ischanging due to technological advancements that can
virtually put law enforcement control at almost everystreet corner and dramatically raise the efficiency intheir response.
Law enforcements eyes and ears at everycorner
Our Systems Safe City solution puts lawenforcements eyes and ears at virtually everycorner. It includes video surveillance, bi-directional
audio transmitters, environmental sensors, gun-shot detectors, panic buttons, pollution level alarm systems, facial recognition, vehicle license recognition and more. The sensors are deployed Systems using a myriad of communication methodsincluding wireless, fiber optic, LAN-WAN, mobile networks and more.
Sophisticated Call Centers
The Safe City solution features a next-generation call center (911) system that canreceive calls from multiple sources (telephones, VoIP, panic buttons, intercoms and
more). The system includes on-screen call handling scripts and protocols, assistingcall handlers when gathering information and providing on-call instructions.
Revolutionizing the dispatchers role
Traditionally dispatchers receive basic information from the agency call center aboutan event and dispatch security forces to handle the situation. The Systems Safe City
solution completely changes the role of the dispatcher. The agency call information isone of many information sources available to the dispatcher. With the power of GIS,video/audio sensors that are scattered throughout the city, and other sources of
information, the dispatcher can gather a first-hand "picture" of the event and decidewhich forces to dispatch (e.g. police, fire, ambulance), how many forces are needed, and even manage the forces in real-time by providing a command & control
perspective. These revolutionary capabilities dramatically reduce response times andcontribute to the efficiency of the forces.
Coordination between multiple security forces in major events
One of the major lessons learned from 9/11 is the importance of the coordination

between the various security and agency forces. This type of coordination is at the
heat of our Systems Safe City solution. The solutions communication infrastructure
allows uninterrupted flow of information between security and agency forces, evenwhen civil networks are down. Integrative dispatching and Command & Controlcenters offer high-level perspective and efficient coordination. When necessary, mobile units or temporary on-scene stations can also replicate monitoring and control
functions on the ground, allowing on-site interoperability and communication.
C4 - Strategic analysis and decision support
Our Systems Safe City solution features strategic decision support applications. Byanalyzing statistic data, decision makers can analyze the performance of their activityaccording to predefined KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). For example, efficiency of
the existing resources, the need to expand or decrease the agency call centers,
response times, crime rates per region, and more. This information facilitates theongoing strategic decision making to constantly improve performance.
Full Turn-key Capability
Turn-key solution based on multidisciplinary capabilities
As part of a large global system integrator, we also provide turn-key solutions thatinvolve multidisciplinary capabilities:
o Project assessment and planning - threat, vulnerability and risk assessments, event prediction forecasting and modeling.
o Deployment of sensors selection of the appropriate equipment and engineeringof equipment packages.
o Deployment of communication infrastructure receivers, transmitters, antennas, wireless equipment.
o Civil work including building of fences, towers, communication infrastructure.o Deployment of command and control centers central command and control as
well as on-site mobile units.o Establishment of first-responder organization job profiling, vetting, screening,
training and coaching.
