Community-Based Mental Health Services for Adults
Rosecrance Central Illinois
l Crisis Services: Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year from
both the Crisis Line and the Crisis Team.
l Residential Crisis Stabilization: Provided at the Crisis Residential
Center, a seven-bed short-term crisis stabilization treatment
center focused on recovery and meeting the short-term needs of
adults in crisis when higher levels of care are not appropriate.
l Community Support Program: Community-based case manage-
ment for individuals with mental health needs helps achieve their
personal goals for community living. The focus is on recovery and
self-management.
l Residential Programs vary in intensity and include:
n 24-hour group homes in Champaign
n Permanent Housing Assertive Community Treatment
vouchers in Champaign County for those with mental health
and/or substance use disorders
n Three apartment buildings: Elm Street and Carroll Avenue
in Urbana and Crane Drive in Rantoul
n Shelter Plus Care Vouchers and the Tenant-Based Rental
Assistance program

Substance Abuse Outpatient Services
Court Services
l Forensic and Problem-Solving Courts: Screening, mental health
and substance abuse assessments, benefits case management, and
treatment services offered at the Champaign County Jail in
cooperation with jail personnel and other onsite health care
service providers.
l Therapeutic Services: Case management and individual and group
therapies are provided with an emphasis on integrating community-
based services for persons in the jail and reentering the community
from the criminal justice system.
Youth & Family Services
l Counseling Services: Includes outpatient therapy options that
respond to the needs of adults and youth. Services include individual,
family, couple and group therapy.

l Adult substance residential services: In our residential program,
clients engage in group and individual therapy; experiential
therapies, family programming and 12-Step programming.
l Adult substance abuse IOP (intensive outpatient treatment):
The Intensive Outpatient Program focuses on recovery skills
while adults stay in their home environment. The client
participates in an evidence-based treatment curriculum that
includes group process and techniques, individual and family
counseling, relapse prevention strategies, life skills and 12-Step
group introductions
l Adult dual-diagnosis IOP: The Adult Dual-diagnosis IOP serves
individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health
disorders. This program includes information covered in the
traditional IOP plus addresses issues that directly impact clients
living with a substance use disorder and mental illness. It also
incorporates coping skills, behavior modification techniques,
and provides extensive psycho-education.
l Adolescent and adult substance abuse outpatient services:
Outpatient services are comprised of a combination of individual
and/or group counseling and focus on relapse prevention, life skills,
healthy relationships.
l Adult recovery living: As the only licensed recovery home in the
region, our residence has the capacity for 12 residents in fully
furnished, shared apartments. Goals of the program are to help
residents develop life skills, participate in recovery activities, and
create a community of recovery.
l Substance abuse continuing care groups: Continuing care groups
help adolescents and adults transition back into the community and
daily life after completing a treatment program.
