Workshops: literature reviews, research methods, research ethics
Mentorship: one per team
Funding: up to $4000

•66 conference abstracts/grand rounds lectures
•7 manuscripts published; 9 others being prepared
•2 projects expanded and awarded additional funding, including a CIHR Catalyst Grant

Project Examples • 3 studies on needs of HIV patients
led to changes in dietitian support & psychological support for this group of patients. Findings published in The Journal of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care
• Individualized hemophilia treatment reduced bleeds & increased physical activity ; 2 publications being submitted
• Trans-Catheter Aortic Valve Implantation - Program changed approach to better support patients’ decisions; mentors for team awarded CIHR Catalyst Grant; published paper in The European Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing
