WHEREAS, the Oneida Tribe has detenrdned that advertiserIEnt of all Oneidagaming enterprises shall be designed to reach the broadest possible IIErket ina m:mner consistent with applicable federal laws and regulations of theFederal CamrnUnications Commission and the United States Postal Service.
Na..J ~ORE BE IT P£SOLVED: that the Oneida Garr.ing l-:1anager and the OneidaPrcm:>tions Director shall advertise the Oneida gaming enterprises by alllawful means on or off the Oneida Indian Reservation, PROVIDED that noadvertisements shall violate federal laws or regulations of the FederalCoommications Coumission or the United States Postal Services. Thisresolution shall supersede all prior inconsistent laws or rules effectiveheretofore and shall be included in the Oneida Gaming Control Ordinance.

~{EREAS, the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin is eligible to apply forcontracts w'ith the Bureau of Indian Affairs to plan, conduct, and administerall or parts of Bureau authorized programs, under authority of Public law93-638; and
WHEREAS. the Tribal Governing Body has determined that it wishes to exercisethe contracting option and/or Purchase Order.
1\"'00, THEREFORE BE IT P-ESOLVED 'mAT:
1.
The Scope of the Plan is to conduct and administer the tribal homevegetable garden project.
2.
The Tribal Chairman is authorized to negotiate and execute the Plan andany atren~nts thereto.
3.
The authorities granted herein shall be effective until such tine as thetribal governing body takes further action by resolution.
4.
The tribal governing body shall review the plan and any amenduentsthereto before execution.
5.
The proposed date for start of the contract is April 17, 1988 and shallbe effective through July 31, 1988.
BE IT F1JRTHER RESOLVED 'mAT: The Oneida Tribe wishes to expend $2, 000 asoutlined in pre-existing budget authorization fran the Bureau of lt1dianAffairs.

Wayne Skenandore recO[IIDended that the Land Conmittee request the BusinessCormlittee to take steps to assure that the proceeds of "1DttO:1eida" bedistributed consistent with the General tribal F£solution #10-29-87-A, whidhstates in part, $500,000 min~ annually should be allocated for landacquisition and all net profits in -excess of the annual budget shall beallocated in the following manner:
50% in a Tribal Serve Ftmd25% for purchase of land25% for following years budget
and further that the Business CaIIDi ttee require the Managen:ent to turn over25% of the lottery money as it becomes available so that it can be credited tothe land Account.
