Workshop Faculty MaryLoveWardbeganherprofessionaldancecareerinWashington,DCperformingforseveralseasonswithtwoofthecity’sestablishedcontemporarycompanies.AsacompanydancerwithCarla&Companyshetouredthenorth-eastperformingrepertoryfromavarietyofnationallyrecognizedcontemporarychoreographers.WhileinDCshealsodancedwiththepost-modernbasedcompanyDanceAntonini,whichperformedintheNationalImprovisationFestivalandvarioussite-specificworks.MorerecentlyshehasdancedwithFuzionDanceArtists,RepertoryDanceTheateratFloridaStateUniversity,andMaryLoveDanceProjects(MLDP)aresearchbasedcompanyshealsodirects.WithMLDPshehastouredtheeastcoastandappearedinabroadcastTed(X)production.ShehashadthehonortoperformadiversebodyofhistoricandcontemporarychoreographicworksincludingdancesbyIsadoraDuncan,MariusPetipa,LyndaDavis,AlanDanielson,LizLerman,HeleniusWilkins,NellieRainwater,AmyMarshall,SandraNeels,amongothers.Ms.Ward’schoreographyhasbeenpresentednationallyandabroadinTheFloridaDanceFestival,WestFestDanceFestival(NYC),NewGrounds(FL),TheDUMBODanceFestival(NYC),CoolNYDanceFestival,DCArt-O-Matic,TheSouthCarolinaDanceFestival,AtlantaBlabbermouthDanceFestival,TheShiftOrlando,TheGatewayCenterfortheArts(FL),andinternationallyintheDominicanRepublic.ShehasalsobeencommissionedtosetworkatDartonCollege,DaytonaStateCollege,andthepre-professionalprogramatTheCenterforContemporaryDance,wheresheistherecipientofanartisticresidency.Ms.WardholdsanMFAinDancePerformanceandChoreographyfromFloridaStateUniversity,aBSinBiologywithaminordegreeindancefromWinthropUniversity,andisacertifiedPilatestrainerthroughthePhysicalMindInstitute.ShehastaughtdanceatValenciaCollege,FloridaStateUniversity,andfrequentlyservesasaguestinstructorforvariousdanceintensivesandconferences.SheistheprofessorofcontemporarydanceatFloridaSchooloftheArts.JessicaMayhew,originallyfromMiami,FL,isagraduateoftheartsprogramatCoralReefSeniorHigh.SheattendSantaFeCollegeasarecipientofatalentscholarshipandbecameamemberoftheperformingcompanyDanceTheatreofSantaFe(DTSF),workingcloselywithartistinresidence,AlbertoAlonsooftheNationalBalletofCuba.Shewasfeaturedinmanyofhisballetsandappearedinthedocumentaryfilm“DanceofmyHeart,”whichfollowedMr.Alonso’sprofessionalcareer.JessicamadeherprofessionaldebutwithFloridaDanceTheatreofLakeland,FLbeforefinishingherundergraduatedegreeattheUniversityofFloridainCriminologyandLaw.SheholdsanMFAfromFloridaStateUniversityinDancePerformanceandChoreography.WhileatFSUsheperformedwithDanceRepertoryTheatreandinworksbyJoséLimón,GerriHoulihan,MichaelFoley,AlanDanielson,AndrewNoble,TimGlennandLyndaDavistonameafew.AfterreceivingherMFAJessicacontinuedtodanceprofessionallywithSurfscapeContemporaryDanceTheatreinNewSmyrna,FL.ShehashadherchoreographypresentedinternationallyinKazakhstanasacollaborationwithPeterKalivasandthePGKProjectofSanDiego.Nationally,Jessica’sworkhasbeenpresentedattheDUMBOWhiteWaveFestivalandtheDanceGalleryFestivalinNYC,theAlabamaDanceFestival,AmericanCollegeDanceAssociation,FloridaDanceFestival,NewGroundsFestival,andtheRinglingInternationalArtsFestival.JessicawasalsocommissionedtosetworkforTheTallahasseeBalletandaMFAthesisconcertatFloridaState.JessicahasservedasadancestaffmemberatFloridaStateUniversity,SantaFeCollegewhereshewasalsodirectorofthestudentdancecompany,DanceTheaterofSantaFe.JessicaistheprofessorofballetatFloridaSchooloftheArts.

JenneVermesisaprofessoroftapdanceatboththeUniversityofFloridaandFloridaSchooloftheArts.SheearnedherBachelor'sandtwoMaster'sdegreesfromFloridaStateUniversity.Sheisalsoaninstructorand

directorofthetapprogramatseveralstudiosandconservatoriesinSt.Augustine,Jacksonville,andFlemingIsland.Sheistheowner,choreographerandprincipaldancerofherowntapcompany,“NoiseComplaint,”whichhasreleasedseveralprofessionalvideosandperformedatmajorconventioneventssuchasMegaCon,FloridaAnimeExperienceandDragonCon.Additionally,from2010-2012,Jennetouredasadancer/singerfortheinternationallyacclaimedband,TheCruxshadows,travelingacrossEurope,theCaribbean,andNorthAmerica,dancingonstagesatmajorinternationalfestivals.MorganBrownisoriginallyfromLosAngeles,California.Sheholdsabachelor’sandmaster’sdegreeindancefromtheCalifornia

InstituteoftheArts.ShehasdancedprofessionallyfortheCleoParkerRobinsonDanceTheatreandworkedabroadasaguestartistperformingandchoreographinginGhana,WestAfrica,Edinburgh,Scotland,andLennestadt,Germany.From2002-2004inAccra,Ghana,shestudiedtheinfusionofAfricandanceandculturewithWesterndanceforms.ShealsoearnedagrantfromtheU.S.EmbassyofGhanatoproduceaballetbasedonanAfricanwardancethatincorporatedtheNationalTheaterofGhanaDanceandMusicEnsemble.MorganhasbeenafacultymemberattheCollegeoftheCanyonsinSouthernCalifornia,Harvard-WestlakeSchool,FloridaStateCollegeatJacksonville,DouglasAndersonSchooloftheArts,aswellasFloridaSchooloftheArts.Shealsodirectsherprofessionaldanceensemble,MorganBrownDanceCompany.

DewittCooperisfromJacksonvilleFLwherehestudiedatDouglasAndersonSchooloftheArts.HeholdsanMFAinmoderndance

fromCaseWesternReserveUniversityandhehasanundergraduatemusicaltheaterdegreefromFloridaStateUniversity,wherehewasthefirstAfricanAmericanMaletobeadmittedtotheprogram.DuringhistimeatCaseWesternReserveUniversityhewasnominatedfortheWittkeUndergraduateteachingaward.In2006hewasawardedtheOkieAwardbytheLaVillaSchooloftheArtsformostinspiringChoreography.Recentlyin2007hischoreographywasrecognizedattheNuvoDanceCompetitionandin2008hischoreographywasawardedPlatinumAwardsattheApplauseTalentCompetition.Mr.CooperhasalsosetchoreographyfortheproductionofJuliusXforplaywriterAlLetsonatPlayersbytheSea,DreamGirlsandtheFAMUConnectionTourattheEssentialTheatre.TodayDeWittCoopercontinuestoworkwithGarthFaganattheSummerMovementInstitutewherehetrainsintensivelyasateacherandstudentunderGarthFaganandNatalieCropper.HisprofessionaldanceexperienceincludesPhlavaDanceCompany,GreatLakesFestivalBallet,andVerlezzaDance.Mr.Cooperalsocontinueshisprofessionalcareerinmusicaltheatre.Hehasplayedtheroleof“Simon”intheAlhambra’sproductionofJesusChristSuperstar.Other

professionalcreditsinclude:WestSideStory,AnythingGoes,SheLovesMe,AintMisBehavin,OnceonthisIsland,andBlackNativityarejusttonameafew.HehassungfortheAnnReinkingDoctorialCeremony.HehasalsoperformedattheWaltDisneyWorldAnimalKingdomwhereheisacastmemberofFindingNemotheMusical.Currently,heisanartisticdirectorwithCooperMorganDanceandisafacultymemberatFloridaSchooloftheArtsandBowlesHighSchool.LarryAlbright,aka,TheBeast,hasbeenchoreographing,teachingperforming,andtraininginhisstyleofHipHopfor14yearsallover

theU.S.andabroad.HehaschoreographedforartistssuchasMohombi"BumpyRide,"SeanKingston"FireBurning,"andSophiaDelCarmen"NoTeQuiero."HehasbeenfeaturedasanopeningactforsuchartistsasNelly,Common,LilMo,andFabolous.LarryhasalsobeenseenonMTV's"MySuperSweet16"whereheopenedforPitbull.Thoughhelovestoperform,hispassionliesinteaching.Histeachingexperienceisquiteextensivehavingtaughtalllevelsfromelementarytocollegiateandprofessional.HehasconductedmasterclassesformanyconventionsincludingDanceEducatorsofAmerica,DanceMastersofAmerica,PickTheStarsInternational(Can),andStreetStylzHipHopConvention.HehasalsotaughtatmanycollegesincludingRutgersUniversity,FloridaInternationalUniversity,NorthwoodUniversity,FloridaState,andFloridaSchooloftheArts.Currently,heistheleadchoreographerfornewInterscoperecordingartistJRandall"SpiritoftheRadio-StepUp3DMovieSoundtrack."
