NSB - 308LFor Welding of Low Carbon 18% Cr - 8% Ni Stainless Steel
Description
NSB-308L is a stainless steel electrode with excellent weldability, which gives a low carbon 19% Cr -9% Ni austenitic stainless steelweld metal. Because of the lowcarbon content, the deposited metal has better resistance to intercrystalline corrosion than that of originary 308 type. Therefore, these electrodes are recommended, where the construction should be worked at severe corrosive atmosphere.
Applications
Mainly used for welding of AISI 304L stainless steel.
Instructions for Welding
1. Dry the electrodes at 150ºC ~ 200º for 30 ~ 60 minutes before use.2. Keep the arc length as short as posibble.3. Do not use excessive current.4. Do not use too much weaving. The bead width should be kept within 2.5 times of core wire diameter.5. Clean weld area in order to prevent from decreasing the corrosion caused by interblending carbon to the deposited Metal.

NSB - 310For Welding of Low Carbon 25% Cr - 20% Ni Stainless Steel
Description
NSB-310 is a stainless steel electrode which gives the depositedmetal of 25%Cr-20%Ni stainlesssteel with the fully austenitic structure. The deposited metal hasexcellent corrosion resistibility and heat resistibility and shows distinguished ductility because theNi alloy contents are higher thanthat of 309 type. It is suitable forwelding the steel of highhardenability such as 13% Cr steel,Cr - Mo steel etc., which is difficultto preheating or postheating.
Applications
Welding of steel corresponding toAISI 310 and 310S. Welding on the clad side of stainless clad steel. Welding of dissimilar steels such as mild steel to airhardening steel (Cr- Mo steel etc.)
Instructions for Welding
1. Dry the electrodes at 150ºC ~ 200º for 30 ~ 60 minutes before use.2. Keep the arc length as short as possible.3. Do not use too much weaving. The bead width should be kept within 2.5 times of core wire diameter.4. The weld metal is sensitive to hot cracking because high Cr and Ni alloy contents will give the fully austenitic structure. Therefore, select the lower welding current stated in the table below.5. Keep interpass temperature less 150ºC and do not weld continously.

CIN - 1For Repairing of Cast Iron
DescriptionCIN-1 is a high grade special purpose electrode with pure nickel core. This electrode is especially intended for cold welding of cast iron. Due to the special character of the coatings, welding can be completed by lower current as compared with the conventional electrodes. The weld metal is the most insensitive to cracking and has good mechanical properties.
Applications
For repairing of cracks, filling of
defects and joining of all kinds of cast iron. Also suitable for welding water tight constructions.
NS SUGARFor Sugar Industries
Description
NS Sugar has been specially designed for the sugar industries, the deposited metal contains C andCr as principal elements. It has extremely high hardness caused byprecipitation of chrome carbide. NSSugar welding characteristic covers good arc stability and high deposition level.
Applications
For surfacing of sugar mill feed roll, shredding knives and hammer bit. NS Sugar can be applied to repair the worn rolls during either running or stationary condition.
Instructions for Welding1. As a rule, no preheating or post heating is necessary, but the best result is obtained when base metal is heated to 100ºC ~ 200ºC
before welding.2. Dry the electrodes at 80º ~ 120ºC for 30 ~ 60 minutes before use.
Instructions for Welding
1. Dry the electrodes at 150º~200ºC for 30~60 minutes before use.2. Choose the welding current within the suitable welding current range.3. Underlay with austenitic stainless electrodes (NS-307/NSB-307) to avoid cracking in the case of multi layer welding of 13%

CIN - 2For Reparing of Cast Iron
Description
CIN-2 is a high grade special pur-pose electrode with ferro-nickel alloy core (45%Fe-55%Ni). Thiselectrode is especially intended forcold welding of cast iron. Due tothe special character of thecoatings, welding can be completed by lower current compared with the conventional electrodes. So, the weld metal can be matched by cutting tools and isnot sensitive to cracking. As theweld metal has excellent mechanical properties, it is mostsuitable for cold welding of ductilecast iron (nodular cast iron).
Applications
For welding of nodular cast iron, repairing and jointing all kinds ofcast iron, repairing and joining all kinds of cast iron. Also suitable for underlaying of hardsurfacing.
Instructions for Welding
1. As a rule, no preheating of postheating is necessary, but the best result is obtained when the parent metal is heated top 100ºC ~ 200ºC before welding.2. Dry the electrodes at 80ºC ~ 120ºC for 30 ~ 60 minutes before use.

NSG
For Gouging of all Metals
Description
NSG is a gouging electrode, de-signed to produce a beautiful andclean gouged surface for all metals. It contains no graphite, there is nothing to worry about graphite residues on the gouged surface. The coating has good heatresistance, the electrodes can beused with high welding current toproduce high speed and efficientgouge.
Applications
For gouging of unwanted section of cast iron, stainless steel, hard surfacing, non-ferrous metals which are difficult to be ground with abrasive stone. Preparing joints to be welded, back chipping, removal of defects, etc.
Instructions for Welding
1. Strike the arc by angle less than 30º from base metal and then proceed forward by pressing firmly on the metal. 2. If the deep groove is necessary, it is better to repeat gouging operation several times with shallow groove.3. Do not preheat the gouging rod with excessive temperature(max. 50ºC for 30 minutes), this is to maintain the moisture level in the coating in order to get deep penetration characteristic.
