How can the use of video stimulate and develop learning?
Cameras being used to record productions linked to cross curricular activities:
• For example - Boudica news reports
Video clips produced and loaded as ‘exemplars’ for other children to learn from:
• For example recording short sessions of spoken French to practice language skills
Learning about media literacy as an important skill in its own right
• Development of a film club, understanding of modern media conventions, how narratives and ‘messages’ are brought to the viewer.
