Creating Work Orders
To create a new corrective WO, navigate to the Work Orders table by clicking the “Work Orders” Tab at the left of the screen. From here we can directly add work orders into the system in one of two ways:● If you are on the list view, by clicking the “Plus” button at the top of the list; or● If you are on the detail view of a WO, click the “Add” button at the top left corner of the record. From here you can also add a Work Order
using the copy/add function (Down arrow next to the Add button).

Creating Work Orders
● By default, selecting an Asset for a WO is optional. However, always selecting an Asset will enable the system to build the History for each Asset, which will allow you to track costs, time spent and other valuable information.
● The “Assign to” contact will receive an email notification when a WO is assigned to him/her.

Adding Labor Charges
The system is designed to enable you to identify the costs for performing work and to associate those charges (Labor, Parts, Miscellaneous) with Assets. Adding labor charges will allow you to track the time spent on each Asset, as well as the cost associated with that labor.

Adding parts charges
Part charges is how you Issue parts from your Inventory to WOs. This transaction will adjust Inventory and will also associate costs with the WO and the Asset.

Closing Work Orders
Not everyone should have the ability to Closeout WOs. Make sure users that are allowed to close WOs understand that Charges need to be entered properly prior to closing them.
