Tissue paper has been used to
create the sky. Rip up small pieces of tissue paper and
scrunch them into rough balls. Glue
them over the sky. Once it is dry paint
the tissue paper.
A paper muffin case was cut into
the shape of Mona Lisa’s body. It was glued down and
then another layer was glued on top to create a ruffle
look. Once dried it was painted.
Felt was cut into the shape of Mona
Lisa’s face and neck and glued down. Cut the
face of Mona Lisa from another
picture and glue it on top of the felt to
make it look 3D. Paint the felt a skin
colour.
Wool was cut to make small strips.
Separate the strips slightly with your fingers and glue
them onto the hair with PVA glue. Once dry paint over it with the correct colour.
Cotton wool was used to create the
trees in the background. Rip
small bits of cotton wool and glue down onto the
picture. Paint the wool once it has
dried.
