performed last week by the students of Rose
Bay. After months of rehearsals, the extremely

Final P&C Meeting for the yearThe final P&C meeting will be held at 7.00pm (please note the change from 7:30) on Tuesday 2
December 2014. As usual for December this will be a short meeting, followed by end-of-year
drinks. All members of the school community are very welcome and invited to attend. Come
along and enjoy the company of your fellow school community members. For directions click here
Aerosol cans all years
Students are reminded that aerosol cans are not permitted at school. These cans contain
chemicals which can trigger asthma attacks and other breathing problems for some staff and
students. Students are advised to bring roll on deodorant if required.
2015 sport choices years 7, 8 & 9
Students have been issued with information and permission note for sport in 2015. You will find
these notes on our sport page. Please ensure you return the note for the year your child(ren) are
in next year (e.g; current year 7 parents will use the year 8 form). Selection forms and payment is
due Friday 5 December.
Surf school year 7
Fingers crossed the weather forecasters are wrong and the week will be rain free. We can
reliably forecast happy, tired students at the end of the week that are stronger swimmers with a
greater awareness of safety and lifesaving. Students have been issued with the final information
note detailing how the week will run and what they need to bring. You will find the note on our
sport page.
Interdisciplinary projectyear 8 - selective and honour roll students
A reminder the project starts December 8. Permission notes, due last Friday, are available on thecalendar
Please return booksall years
If any students have novels at home that were studied in English this year, please return them to
your English teacher or speak to your teacher about paying for a replacement novel. If you are
not sure if you have a returned your novel or not, please speak to your teacher.
Peer support year 8
Peer Support Leaders from Year 8 2014 are currently being sought. This program engages
students new to the College in Year 7 with Year 9 Peer Support Leaders. These Leaders act as
mentors for the new year 7 students during their transition to high school. Ms Metson has talked
with students about this. More information and permission note can be found in the welfare
section of our website. Permission notes should be returned by Tuesday.
Sport committee all years
Sports Committee annual general meeting will be on Wednesday 10th December in the staff
common room starting at 7 pm with pre meeting drinks starting at 6.45 pm. Agenda.
Meet the Musicall years
Music students and music lovers generally are invited to buy a subscription to the Sydney
Symphony Orchestra's 2015 Meet the Music series, four concerts of great music in a brilliant
location at a bargain prices. The purchase of subscriptions is being organised through the MEP;
visit the MEP wesbite for details and email Sally Zwartz if you need more information.
Careers Newsyears 9, 10 & 11
At this time of year there is a lot of info for students from the careers desk, our careers advisor Mr
Manganaro has put together a PDF detailing upcoming events and opportunities. You can

Assessments dueyear 11
There are many assessments due in the coming weeks. I've heard in particular reminders fromPhysics, Visual Arts and English teachers. The assessment planner on the website detailsassessments due.
