FORMER LOVELAND POLICE OFFICER CHARGED WITH 2 COUNTS OF RAPE
Miami Township, Hamilton County, March 5, 2021 – Hamilton County
Sheriff Charmaine McGuffey reports that Anthony Pecord has been charged with
Two (2) Counts of Rape. The incident that led to the charges occurred on January
24th and was reported on January 25th. At that time, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s
Office conducted an investigation and presented the information to the Hamilton
County Prosecutor’s Office. At the time of the incident, the suspect was a Loveland
Police Officer.
Warrants were filed for Anthony Pecord earlier today, and he turned himself in
at 3:45pm.
The case is now in the hands of the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office.
Anthony Pecord will appear for arraignment Saturday morning (March 6th) at 9am in
Courtroom A.
