There are so many things we can all do at this time of year to make others’ lives and our own lives better. Here are just a few ideas. Please add to them:
■ Read to a child, often.
■ Support Sub-for-Santa.
■ Donate to the Cache Community Food Pantry.
■ Volunteer at school.
■ Be grateful.
■ Tell someone thanks.
■ Write a note to someone who has touched your life.
■ Visit an elderly person, more than once.
■ Smile at a store clerk.
■ Enjoy Christmas lights.
■ Read your favorite holiday story.
■ Watch Scrooge and It’s a Wonderful Life, with someone.
■ Spend time with those you love.
■ Play a game with your kids. Then play another one.
