SAMR & systemic changeAlthough we focus on using the SAMR model in the classroom for Teaching & Learning, think about how we might also apply it to:
• CPD & training • Revision • Shared Leadership • Communication • Curriculum
Does it have an impact?
After 4 years of 1:1 iPad: • Record results at GCSE (age 16) and A level (age 18) • Gap closed for PP students • Big increase in top grades (A/A*) • Classes that engaged the most with iPad & iTunes U seeing the biggest gains/progress (Science, Maths, PE)
• No decrease in behaviour/results slippage! • More impact with 35% less budget, 3x amount of ICT hardware devices and a smaller team!
