Parentsand/orGuardians,ChiltonCountySchoolSystemisnowusingGoogleAppsforEducation.StudentswillhaveaccesstoGoogleMail,GoogleCalendar,GoogleDocs,andGoogleSitesthatwillbeusedforschoolrelatedprojects.GoogleAppsprovidesaplaceforstudentstosafelykeeponlinecommunicationandcollaborationdocumentsastheyrelatetoschool.Itisnotintendedforpersonaluse.AllsavedworkwillbeaccessiblefromanyplacewithanInternetconnection.StudentscanaccesstheGoogleAppsforEducationsiteatwww.google.comsigninginwiththeircompleteemailaddressandpassword(providedbytheschool).ThisemailaddresswillremainwiththestudentsaslongastheyareattendingaschoolwithintheChiltonCountySchoolSystemprovidedthestudentsusetheaccountasintendedandasagreedupon.ResponsibleUse:TeacherswillmakeeveryreasonableefforttomonitorstudentuseofGoogleAppstoensureitsusepromotesstudentlearning/understanding.Studentsshouldsupportthiseffort.Parentswillneedtomonitorusagewhilethestudentisnotonschoolcampus.StudentswilladheretotheChiltonCountySchoolsTechnologyUsagePolicy.Allparticipantswillberespectfulintheirpostingsandcomments.Nocyberbullying,inappropriatelanguage,personalinsults,profanity,spam,racist,sexistordiscriminatoryremarks,orthreateningcommentswillbetolerated.Allparticipantsmustprotecttheirloginandpasswordinformation.Useofcopyrightedmaterialnotcitedinstudentworkwillbedeemedasplagiarismanddisciplinedaccordingly.AccesstoanduseofstudentGoogleaccountsisconsideredaprivilege.ChiltonCountySchoolSystemmaintainstherighttoterminatetheaccesstoanduseofastudent’sGoogleaccountwhenthereisreasontobelieveviolationsoflawordistrictpolicieshaveoccurred.ChiltonCountySchoolSystemreservestherighttomonitor,accessandreviewanyinformationstoredonaschool-owneddeviceorGoogleaccountlicensedbytheschooldistrict.Anyallegedviolationwillbedirectedtothebuildingprincipalandaddressedaccordingtotheproceduresoutlinedinthestudenthandbook.ChiltonCountySchoolSystemcannotanddoesnotguaranteethesecurityofelectronicfilesusedinGoogleAppsforEducation.Permission:IgrantpermissionforthestudentnamedbelowtobeissuedaChiltonCountySchoolSystemGoogleAppsforEducationstudentaccount.STUDENTNAME:__________________________________________________DATE:___________________SCHOOL:________________________________________________________GRADE:___________________PARENTNAME:____________________________________________________________________________PARENTSIGNATURE:________________________________________________________________________
