helped raise awareness in men’s health, particularly concerning prostate and
testicular cancer.
Thanks to everyone who supported us, especially those who came to
the party. We are already making plans for 2013 and hope that we continue to receive
your support for this worthwhile cause.
Congratulations to our awards winners,:
Andy Dawe- Best Dressed Mo & Man of Movember,
Sandra Hayward- Miss Movember,
Simon Ford - Ultimate Mo
Joanne Ensor– No Mo award.
Finally special thanks go to our main sponsors of the
awards: Mad Dog, Manny’s, Bloomin Lovely and Cloud 9 who
contributed so much in making the evening a success.

or Craig
What Is Shrove Tuesday?
Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake
Day, is the last day before the period which
Christians call Lent. It is traditional on this
day to eat pancakes.
Lent is a time of abstinence, of giving things
up, so Shrove Tuesday is the last day to
indulge yourself and to use up the foods that
aren’t allowed during Lent. Pancakes are
eaten on this day because they contain, fat,
butter and eggs which were forbidden
during Lent.
Shrove Tuesday always falls 47 days before
Easter Sunday, so the date varies from year
to year and falls between the 3rd February
and 9th March.
In Catholic and French speaking parts of the
USA this day is called Mardi Gras.
Whether giving up for Lent or not we will
be offering a selection of savoury and sweet
pancakes on 12th February. Come and see
how creative we are.
