Formatting your manuscript

Please use the following checklist before submitting your print-ready manuscript.1) File format 3) Illustrations / Graphics 5) Line spacingIs your manuscript file in PDF format?(Instructions:www.omniscriptum.com/downloads/pdfcreator.zip) Do your illustrations and graphics havea minimum resolution of 300dpi? Is the line spacing between 1.15 and 1.60? (forfootnotes/illustrations at least 1.0)? Are all pages in DIN A4 (210x297mm) portraitformat? Is the font size in your illustrations andgraphics at least 10pt? Is the text alignment justified on all pages? Do your illustrations, graphics andpage numbers respect the 2cm (or3cm) margin size? 2) Margins 4) Character set 6) Page numbersManuscripts up to 400 pages: Are the margins set to2cm for the body text, footnotes, illustrations andpage numbers (top, bottom, side)? Is the used font type Arial or TimesNew Roman? Is the pagination continuous and consecutive(no missing pages or page numbers)? Manuscripts more than 400 pages: Are the sidemargins set to 3cm for the body text, footnotes,illustrations and page numbers? Is the used font size for the body textat least 14pt?

Do the Table of Contents and Chapter 1 starton an odd-numbered page? (1st page in PDF =right/odd-numbered page; 2nd page =left/even-numbered page, etc)

Others Is the used font size for headlines atleast 16pt? Is the alignment of page numbers centered onthe top or bottom?

Does the manuscript contain a table of contents? Is the used font size for footnotes atleast 11pt? Are the title page and statutory declaration (if any)removed? Are all used font types embedded?
