Team on the Run’s Emergency Message feature allows users to send an emergency message from the mobile app or WebChat. The application sends the alert and the user’s location to a preset list of users.
The feature is activated and configured by the company administrator, who can choose between a standard or custom message.

− If no message is selected for 30s, the Critical! alert is automatically sent
− Each time a user sends an emergency message, another alert conversation is created
− These conversations cannot be deleted until alert is disabled

Message sent but not acknowledged
− After user sends an Emergency Message, a new conversation is created, including the sender and all the recipients
− One of the recipients set on Web Company Admin has to acknowledge the alert, otherwise it stays in Pending mode
− User will not be able to send another emergency message in the meantime

Message sent and acknowledged
− When one of the recipients sees the user’s message, the “Alert Mode On” message is displayed on the emergency message bar and in the conversation thread
− Alert bubble includes the time the user pressed the emergency message
− User’s location is sent as attachment to the conversation (if location services are enabled on the device or TOTR’s Geolocation feature is active)

Deactivate emergency message
− The alert has to be deactivated by the sender after one of the recipients acknowledges it
− Press the Emergency Message bar Alert Mode On is no longer displayed
− The Alert Mode Off message is displayed in the conversation thread. A notification is also received.
− Emergency Message bar is active again (user can send another message) & the alert conversation changes color from red to green

− If status is set to “Custom” on Web Company Admin, the users will only have to press the emergency message bar
− The 3 message types shown on slide 3 will not be displayed, instead the custom message is automatically sent
− A new conversation is created, including the sender and all the recipients (this happens every time an emergency message is sent)
− These conversations cannot be deleted until alert is deactivated

Auto-sending of emergency message when making emergency calls
− An emergency message can be automatically sent when users make an emergency call thanks to Activate auto-trigger of emergency message
− Activate option on Web Company Admin, section Emergency PTT Group Call
− Note that this feature is available only if the Emergency Call status is set to Active and an Emergency Call recipients list is configured
− The list of recipients for the emergency call is not the same as the one for emergency message

− If the emergency message status is set to Standard, when user makes an emergency call the message set on Web Company Admin is automatically sent
− In either case, two conversations are created: - one for the emergency call - one for the emergency message
