100 Minutes on CommunicationDemonstration Workshop on Effective Communication
Program Conducted by David C Linus of ICSPS
Purpose:To corroborate and find links to developing communication skills along three verticals
1. Functional ability
2. Competitive ability
3. Independent ability
The 200 Demonstration Workshops scheduled across the country are an activity based study to
establish the key learning opportunities around communication and how with easy and independentlyapplicable tools, methods and techniques individuals can adopt appropriate approaches with agility.
Program Schedule and Order of Day

6 15 minutes Deliberate Self Applicable and Developable Methods, Tools and
Techniques to enhance communication.

Preface
ICSPS conducted a survey between March 2012 and May 2012 by calling into SMEs across India to
understand if there were any opportunities to plug around communication skills and to establish a general
understanding of how communication affected the overall experience. ICSPS observed that the sample900+ SMEs were all between 2 and 2.5 on a scale of 5 along the following parameters.

We verified our findings with other available sources of information and found that the data was correct in
leading us to believe that there is immense opportunity to exploit and harness communication as an
integral part of day-t0-day functions of an SME.
POOR communication directly co-related with POOR performance both internally within an organization
and externally with customers and suppliers/vendors.
Purpose
ICSPS is conducting these 100 Minute Workshops to understand and discover as much as possible the
areas that can be developed for a change and for value that can be EXPLOITED for profit commercially orsocially.
