DPSB:RG:Parental Circular/17-18/14 19 September 2017 Dear parents/guardians This has reference to our parental circular nos. DPSB:RG:Parental circular/15-16/16 dated 13 October 2015, DPSB:RG:Parental circular/16-17/18 dated 4 November 2016 and general guidelines to the parents given in our Alamanc (point no. 23 page 19) concerning students commuting to school by two wheelers (both geared and non-geared). We regret to observe that inspite of repeated instructions not to do so, some of our students still commute to school by two wheelers (both geared and non-geared) without a valid Driving License and also drive vehicles which are beyond the permissible limit (50CC for non-geared vehicles) without helmets, thereby risking their lives. If your ward is not legally authorized to drive a motor vehicle beyond the permissible engine capacity, please do not let your child come to school driving it. Moreover, some students also park their vehicles outside the school campus i.e. near the residential area (Ruabandha Sector) which results in problems for the residents. The residents have also approached the school authorities about the inconvenience caused to them due to this. In view of the above, we humbly seek your kind cooperation in ensuring that your ward has a valid Driving License (if legally allowed) for a geared or non-geared vehicle (with permissible CC limit), wears a helmet while driving and also parks his/her vehicle at the designated place on the school campus. Further, the traffic police are on constant vigil and may even seize the vehicle of your ward, if s/he is found driving a two wheeler (more than the permissible CC limit), without a helmet and a valid driving license.
