Promote Healing Through Therapeutic Touch
Can you believe that something that feels as good as a massage is actually good for you? It’s truly an investment in your health that may prevent you from requiring extensive medical services. You may think of it as a treat, yet it is scientifically proven to relieve certain types of pain and improve some medical conditions. Massage therapy involves manual manipulation of your body’s muscles and tissues. In addition to relief from physical ailments, it can improve your emotional well-being. Did you know that up to 90% of disease is stress related?
Massage therapy can help you better manage stress by reducing anxiety, decreasing hormone levels, and improving sleep quality—all vital factors in maintaining
proper health, as well as mind-body balance.

Your Massage Experience
You rest on a comfortable massage table in a private room with soothing music and dim lighting. Your professional therapist discusses your history and objectives, then leaves the room while you disrobe to your level of comfort. During a 60- or 90-minute session tailored to your needs, sheets and blankets protect your privacy, while the therapist uses different
techniques to help you reach your goals.
Extend the Benefits
Massage can be a powerful tool in your healthcare routine. You’ll experience even greater benefits with regularly scheduled appointments. Talk with your therapist about how to optimize your wellness with a plan that works with your schedule and budget. You may be interested in our membership program, which offers reduced prices to those who sign up for monthly sessions. To ensure you have an optimal experience, we encourage open communication with your therapist during your session.
Unlock the Flow of Healing Energy
You may have heard about acupuncture but aren’t really sure what it’s all about. This healing modality originated in China more than 2,000 years ago, and is now embraced by our medical practitioners as a helpful tool to promote health and healing. Acupuncture involves placing thin, sterile needles into specific body points that correspond to energetic pathways called meridians. Needle placement encourages the flow of energy, or Qi (pronounced “chee”), to relieve pain and bring the body into balance.
Your Acupuncture Experience
Your first session takes 90 minutes. It involves a 15- to 30-minute discussion about your health history and objectives, plus a physical examination. Personalized treatment may include needles and/or massage techniques, such as scraping and cupping, to increase blood flow to a specific area.
Acupuncture is surprisingly painless. The needles are very thin; some people experience a slight prick upon insertion, which quickly fades. Many people feel sensations like buzzing, warmth, pressure, or tingling. These feelings are normal and indicate that the therapy is working. Most people find the experience relaxing and rejuvenating; you may even take a nap.
Follow-up Sessions
Chronic issues may require multiple treatments, and many people choose to receive maintenance sessions throughout the year. These sessions usually last 60 minutes and can be either private or group, depending on your needs.
Group Acupuncture
If your schedule or budget is limited, consider a 60-minute group session while relaxing in a zero-gravity recliner. Participants remain fully clothed for group acupuncture sessions, as most acupuncture points will be on your arms and legs.
Active bicyclist and runner P.J. schedules a monthly massage, plus sessions before and after races. “My massage therapist is part of my team; it helps to keep me active.”
