Schaeffler Group USA Tour
CRSPE members are invited to attend a lunch and learn session at Schaeffler Group USA, which is responsible for the engineering, production, sales and marketing for the INA, LuK, FAG and Barden brands in North America. Participants will learn about torque converters
and the Schaeffler business model. Following the discussion, Schaeffler representatives will lead a tour of their facilities.

MATHCOUNTS On February 10, 2018 students from the Canton and Ashland areas competed in the annual MATH-COUNTS competition. For the Canton area competition, the Jackson Middle School team will advance to the State Competition in March. Coached by Kelly Putney, members of the winning team include Tanishq Pauskar, Mithil Pauskar, Ahana Dey, and Alexa Yockey. Also advancing as individual competitors are Mi-chael Mitri and Keith Yung, both from Jackson Middle School. For the Ashland area competition, the Edgewood Middle School team will advance to the State Competition. Team members include Jake Han-nan, Seth Jarrett, Hayden Michel, and Seth Opatz. Also advancing as individual competitors area Sophia Anderson and Zach Keating, both from Edgewood Middle School.

CRSPE Scholarships The Canton Regional Society of Professional Engineers (CRSPE) is offering our annual Grant-in-Aid schol-arships to engineering students whose legal residence is in Stark County, Ohio. Students may obtain an application on the Canton Joint Engineering Council’s website at www.cjecnet.com , looking under “Member Societies”, or by emailing Robert Fonte at [email protected].
