After School Tutorial (AST)2:10 pm – 2:30 pm (teacher may extend time voluntarily)With student’s teacher in teacher’s classroom
Scheduled WAC (SWAC)7:00 am – 7:25 am Tuesday-FridayWith student’s teacher in teacher’s classroom
After teacher has notified parent/guardian of below 69% grade, you may email Jean Sarcletti with student name, ID#, level and, if AST or SWAC, day of week you want to schedule.

Focus 59% or lower
Needs a lot of conceptual understanding
Working with your own student in your room

Referring teacher responsible to provide EDT staff

Pyramid of Interventions Referral Process
Referring Teacher’s Responsibilities
Contact parent re: student grade and referral to POI noting level
Deliver blue reminders on day of intervention
Send referrals to Jean Sarcletti including name, ID#, level, and day of week for AST or SWAC
For EDT students send to EDT teacher a prioritized list of work
and/or printed work
Facilitators’ Responsibilities
Process all referrals
Prepare and distribute POI schedule and blue reminders to staff
Track POI attendance
Send weekly ConnectEd call to students’ homes
Notify parent/guardian of 2 consecutive absences and removal of
student after 3rd consecutive unexcused absence
Track student’s success – restart as needed
