A Great Year for Waterloo Wolves’ AAA Hockey!
Another season has come to an end , and wow, was it ever a great one! I would now like to personally and behalf of the Waterloo Wolves
Organization, thank everyone who made the 2010-2011 season an exceptional and memorable one!
To the Wolves Operating Committee and Parents:
Thank you all for your hard work and dedication throughout the whole season. Events like Wolfamania and Sponsorship/Hero to Hero
Day would not have been possible if it were not for great volunteers like yourselves. Also, thank you to those who contributed their time
and effort in volunteering with Chuck-A-Puck and 55+ club at every home game. Your help and passion for volunteering has not gone
unnoticed. Thank you!
To Bob Lekun and the Coaching Staff:
Job well done on an excellent season coaching the Wolves! Thank you for the long hours of practice, effort and dedication to the team.
You have helped these young men get their hockey skills to new levels, something they will take with them for years to come.
Kim Rennie; the boys skates would not have glided as well as they did if it were not your help sharpening those skates! We greatly appre-
ciate all your help Kim!
To our amazing sponsors:
Thank you for your continuous support. With your generous donation, the Waterloo Wolves were able to go once more to the Kelowna
Midget AAA Hockey Tournament in Kelowna, British Columbia. They had the privilege of playing against other great Canadian teams at
the Kelowna Tournament. This experience allowed the Wolves to excel and grow as hockey players and outstanding young men. The
Wolves definitely embraced the experience of being able to go to Kelowna and it will be a memory they will never forget.
To the Waterloo Wolves Midget AAA Team:
Thank you for all your hard work and effort on a fantastic season. The Wolves were the Silver Medalists in the Kitchener Blueline Tour-
nament, Waterloo Gold Puck Tournament Champions and pushed the London Jr Knights to 6 games in the Alliance Finals. Wolves, you
should be very proud of yourselves for coming in second in the 2010-2011 Alliance. Remember gentlemen, Stanley Cups are won and
lost. Great job on an awesome season!
I would now like to wish each and every one of you all the best in your future endeavours. For those who will be coming back next sea-
son, I promise you another exhilarating season. Remember, once a wolf, always a wolf!
To Waterloo Minor Hockey Association :
Thank you for your continuous support in assisting the development of this hockey club.
Again, thank you to everyone who contributed in making this season an amazing one. We have now started planning for the Waterloo
Wolves Midget AAA Hockey Team 10th Anniversary.
We would have not made it to 10 years if it were not for your continued support. Thank you!
Your friend in hockey,
Willy Huber Jr

Telus Regionals: Wolves visit Byron Public School
As part of their participation in the Telus Regionals, the Wolves were ―adopted‖ by Byron Public School in London.
The Byron Public School students held a special pep rally for the Wolves, welcomed them into their classrooms (grade 2
and 5) , and attended one of the games. The students were thrilled to speak to the players, get autographs, show the
Wolves the signs and cheers they had ready for the game, and admired the Wolves‘ bus (see p 8 of newsletter).
