Aerobic fitness
• Aerobic fitness is the ability to exercise for a long time, at a level that allows the respiratory system to cope physiologically, ie without getting breathless or suffering cramp
• Aer = Air with oxygen (O2)

• Anaerobic fitness is the ability to work at a high intensity for a short period of time … and then be able to repay your respiratory system after completing the activity
• An = without
• Anaer = Air without oxygen (O2)
