Terms of tutorial fee: per course and Master Thesis supervising,
SFR 1500; for the course Basics of Research and Academic WritingSFR 750. Course fee has to be paid four weeks before starting thecourse.
This scholarship covers tuition fee in part. The available level oftuition fee reduction is between 10% and 30% depending oncandidate’s academic excellence and the civic responsibility andengagement (see the attached document Scholarship ALSS).

10. Master Thesis
Master Thesis Duration: 3-4 Months
Credits: 15 ECTS (students’ time investment of 450 hours)
Mandatory: for Master of Advanced Studies, ALSS
Information at a Glance Master Thesis
All Master students complete an independent master
thesis (15 ECTS) in the field of their chosen master
program, under the supervision of graduate faculty.
All requirements for the master’s degree, including filing
the thesis, are expected to be completed within five years
of first registration in the degree program. All five courses
(45 ECTS) are required to be completed before
completing the master thesis. Students can start working
on master thesis before they have completed all master
courses; therefore it is mandatory to complete the course
Basics of Research and Academic Writing.
Students should be able to report the entire research
process leading to the master thesis, from problem
formulation to describing findings, conclusions and
recommendations.
The aim of the master thesis is to provide master
students with insights, experiences and tips for
improving their skills in practical, leadership and
management. The master thesis counts for 15 ECTS
and forms an integral and important part of all
leadership master of advanced studies programs.
