Located in the beautiful, rural surroundings of Rufford Abbey Country Park, Rufford Mill is the ideal venue for your special day. The park land offers stunning photographic opportunities within the woodland, formal gardens and by the lake, capturing every beautiful moment of the day.
OUR ROOMS
The Talbot Suite A beautiful canvas for any wedding or civil ceremony. Located on the first floor of Rufford Mill, the venue will accommodate up to 80 day guests sat banquet style, 150 guests sat theatre style and 150 evening guests.
The Markham Suite An additional function room on the ground floor of Rufford Mill offers you a secondary area where you and your guests can retreat to during the day. This space will allow you to accommodate an extra 100 guest during the evening of your day.
We will continue to host only one wedding a day, so that our only focus will be on making sure your day is perfect.

Discuss your individual requirements with our wedding planners and ‘save the date’.
Once your have ‘saved the date’ with us, you should also contact The North Registration Team on 01158 042994 to ensure their availability on your chosen day.
Confirm your date with our wedding planners. To secure your date we kindly ask for the deposit payment (room hire), during the 28 day, ‘save the date’ period and a signed copy of the wedding contract.
You may contact us or come to the venue at any point to ask questions. It is advised you notify us before arrival at the venue to ask questions encase of another event.
Twelve weeks prior to your wedding, our wedding planner will contact you to schedule a meeting concerning your wedding arrangements in detail. Please allow a minimum of two hours for this meeting.
Our wedding coordinators will send you written confirmation of your wedding arrangements, along with an itemised invoice.
We kindly ask for payment in full, six weeks before your wedding date.
