THOUSANDS of dollars wereraised during more then 30 MorningTeas in Katherine.

Cancer Council NT’s NicolaBrien said Katherine Fruit and Vegraised over $1,150 and fundraisingvolunteers at Woolworths raisedmore than $800 - much-neededfunds for those suffering from can-cer.

“A huge thank you to everyonewho hosted and attended eventsacross Katherine,” Ms Brien said.

“It was wonderful to see our

community come together and theenthusiasm and efforts our hostswent to show what special peoplewe have in our town.”

Ms Brien said the first everBiggest Morning Tea Bingo - whichwas hosted by the Katherine Com-munity Radio 8KTR - was alsogreat success in support of the goodcause.

“The money raised will most cer-tainly help our work - to help cancerpatients - to continue,” Ms Briensaid.

Morning Teas raise neededcancer funds

Biggest Morning Teas were held all over town toraise money for Cancer Council NT.
