In City collection l’acciaio è il protagonista assoluto, in simbiosi con cristalli colorati lucido e il legno Relief.

L’acciaio è presente sia come inserto sia come telaio nelle versioni filo muro FA e Planet acciaio PLA.

Ma è soprattutto la particolare interazione fra i tre materiali (legno Relief, cristallo e acciaio) l’aspetto più rilevante e caratteristico di CITY.

Il legno della collezione DO:DIA è il Taeda, un legno che si distingue per la sua grande robustezza, la stabilità agli agenti esterni, e la difficoltà ad essere scalfito.

Taeda in City collection viene esaltato dalla lavorazione Relief, dalla quale si ottengono venature in forte rilievo, sia dal punto di vista tattile che visivo.

In questo modo è possibile apprezzare il calore naturale delle venature del legno, ma anche il colore del trattamento superficiale, ottenuto tramite vernici all’acqua.

Tutto il legno utilizzato è certificato, in quanto proveniente da foreste gestite in maniera corretta e responsabile secondo rigorosi standard ambientali, sociali ed economici.

Le guarnizioni di battuta sono in gomma morbida ad alta tenuta. Le cerniere in acciaio, su design esclusivo DO:DIA, sono testate 200.000 aperture. Il senso di apertura nelle versioni PLA e PLL è reversibile.

La maniglia CITY (design DO:DIA) è disponibile con inserto in legno massello Relief venatura verticale o con inserto in acciaio.

In City collection, steel takes the centre stage along with glossy coloured crystal and wood relief.

Steel is used both as an insert and a frame in the FA wall wire and PLA steel Planet versions.

However, the distinctive interaction between the three materials (wood relief, crystal and steel) is the most notable and characteristic aspect of CITY.

The wood used in the DO:DIA collection is Taeda, a wood distinguished by its high level of sturdiness, stability towards external agents and its resistance to scratching.

Taeda in City collection is enhanced by the Relief processing when relief grain is prominently visible and tactile.

Thus, it is possible to appreciate both the natural warmth of the wood grain and the surface colour treatment obtained with water varnishes.

All the wood used is certified, since it comes from correctly and responsibly managed forests according to rigorous environmental, social and economic standards.

The door seals are made of soft, tightly-sealing rubber. The hinges are made of steel, according to an exclusive DO:DIA design and tested 200,000 times by opening. The opening direction is reversible in the PLA and PLL versions.

The CITY door handle (DO:DIA design) is available in a heartwood insert with vertical grain relief or steel insert.
