BILL OFLADINGA bill of lading (sometimes abbreviated as B/L or BoL) is a document issued by a carrier which details a shipment of merchandise and gives title of that shipment to a specified party.Sea Waybill is a document prepared by a transportation line at the point of a shipment; it shows origin, destination, route, shipper, consignee, description of goods and rate.

SEA WAYBILLSea Waybill is the replacement of the traditional ocean bill of lading.

A Cargo Manifest provides information regarding cargo on board.

MANIFESTSA Shipping Note is issued by the shipper to the carrier requesting allocation of shipping space.

SHIPPING NOTESA Delivery Order (abbreviated D/O) is a document from a consignor, a shipper, or an owner of freight which orders the release of the transportation of cargo to another party.

DELIVERY ORDERSThis is a document used in the shipment of a cargo. When the goods are received by or for the sea carrier, a mates receipt is issued either directly by the ship or by the ships agents. This is the first evidence that the goods are received and statements on the document describe the quantity of goods, any identifying marks and the apparent condition.

DOCUMENTS USED IN CARRIAGE OF GOODS BY AIRThe air waybill is the most important document issued by a carrier either directly or through its authorized agent. It is a non-negotiable transport document. It covers transport of cargo from airport to airport.

AIR WAYBILLMaster air waybill issued by main carrier of goods on receipt of goods from a freight forwarder to deliver at destination as per agreed terms.House air waybill issued by a freight forwarder on receipt of goods from shipper agreeing to deliver goods at destination.

MASTER / HOUSE AIR WAYBILLThis is used in the process of transporting goods; could be a supplemental document as part of an Air waybill.SHIPPERS LETTER OF INSTRUCTION

A commercial invoice is a document used in foreign trade. It is used as a customs declaration provided by the person or corporation that is exporting an item across international borders.

COMMERCIAL INVOICEDocument/s prepared by a consignor or shipper to certify that the dangerous goods being transported have been packaged, labeled, and declared in accordance with the standard international shipping regulations.

SHIPPERS DECLARATION FOR DANGEROUS GOODSIATA ensures that both safety and animal welfare are addressed in all regulatory issues pertaining to transportation of live animals by air. IATAcoordinates the Live Animals and Perishables Board (LAPB)andprovides key input to the airline industry on issues such as animal welfare, identification, and animal behavior based on modern science.
