The Every Nation office in Manila, Philippines is hosting a Doctor of Ministry Preaching and Leading cohort beginning Spring 2022. The focus will be on sharpening present strengths while gaining new skills and per- spectives for preaching and leading in the diverse ministry contexts of the 21st century. This cohort invites ministry leaders into a journey of personal and community spiritual formation. You will expand your capacities as Good News communicators and sharpen your organizational intelligence. Working with peers from all over the world and a faculty who come with significant diverse ministry experience, you can expect to be challenged and inspired. Ultimately, through researching and writing your Ministry Transforma- tion Project, you will contribute solution-centered strategies to your immediate ministry context and to the broader Church as well. FACULTY

Bryan D. Sims, Ph.D. has worked since 2001 as a Leadership and Or-ganizational Change Coach with Spiritual Leadership, Inc. (SLI) where he has trained and coached leaders,

teams, churches, and organizations over extended periods of time to bring spiritual awakening and missional effectiveness. He has coached in Angli-can, Methodist, Free Methodist, Wesleyan, Baptist, Presbyterian, and non-denominational settings. Bryan has also been a professor of Leadership and Lay Equipping at Asbury Theological Seminary since 2011. His teaching expertise relates to team leadership, equipping, leading change, adaptive spiritual leadership, and the link between leader-ship and discipleship.Bryan is a graduate of West Texas A&M University (1998) and Asbury Theological Seminary (M.Div., 2003) and has a PhD. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University (2009). He is author of Leading Together: Embodying Kenosis through our Greatest Challenges (100M Publishing, 2021) and has authored a chapter in Leadership the Wesleyan Way (Emeth Press, 2016).He and his wife MyLinda have been happily married since 1997 and have four children: Isaiah, Luke, Silas, and Lydia. They live in Dallas, TX.

Thomas F. Tumblin, Ph.D. joined Asbury Seminary in 1999 after ten years on staff at Ginghamsburg Unit-ed Methodist Church (Tipp City, OH). He has five years of experience

as a district superintendent overseeing 170 churches. Along with his teaching role at the Sem-inary, Tom has served with the Doctor of Ministry program, Beeson International Center, Global Partnerships, Church Planting Initiative and the Beeson School of Practical Theology. His research interests include leader identity, change theory and organizational systems. Tom and his wife Yvonne have three daughters and four grandchil-dren.

David Ward, Ph.D. is an ordained minister in The Wesleyan Church. Rev. Ward led a church of 650 in northern Indiana; trained itinerant preachers for a parachurch organi-

zation in Denver, Colorado; served as the Dean of Theology and Ministry; has served on the preaching team for churches in Michigan and Indiana; and is a regular preacher in conferences, camps, and universities. Rev. Ward received his bachelors in Christian Ministries from Indiana Wesleyan University; his M.Div. from Asbury Theo-logical Seminary; and his Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary in Homiletics in 2012. Pas-tor Ward is in the middle of a transition back to full time local church ministry for a multiethnic, multi-site church in the Brentwood, TN. Dr. Ward is the author of Practicing the Preaching Life and numerous online and academic articles.
