HERE ARE SOME BASIC

INSTALLATION TIPS

TIP #1The installed panels should be able to

move freely from side to side. If they

don’t, it is safe to assume that they have

been attached too tightly and run the risk

of buckling or warping in future.

Do not use force.When installing vinyl cladding

panels, push up from the bottomuntil the panel engages with the

lock of the panel below it.

TIP #2

TIP #3Never nail or staple the vinyl panel directly. Doing sowill not give the material room to expand or contract

and will result in ripples.

Always use the nail hem.

TIP # 4Always nail in the centre of the panel, never on theedges. Nailing on the end of the panel will damage it

permanently.

TIP #5Do not caulk panelswhere they meet or

at overlap joints.

BONUS TIP!Don't forget that you will need

basic protective gear likesafety glass, ear muffs and

workman’s clothing andshoes.
