Launch of Philadelphia DPN Chapter
Over 50 partners and in-house counsel gathered at Ogletree Deakins in Philadelphia on
May 8 for the launch of Philadelphia’s DPN Chapter. Hosted by Paul Lancaster Adams,
Wendy Beetelston, Vernon Francis, Deborah Hong and Kenneth Trujillo, the chapter
hopes to help diverse partners build their practices, offer guidance to associates and make
a difference in the greater Philadelphia community.
Joe Drayton Named NYC Bar Diversity and Inclusion Champion
Joseph Drayton, partner in the New York office of Coo-ley, LLP was selected as one of only four attorneys inNew York to be recognized by the New York City BarAssociation with a 2014 Diversity & Inclusion ChampionAward. The award recognizes the critical role that therecipients have played in initiating and sustainingchange to promote diversity within their organizationsand the New York legal community. The New York CityBar will present the 2014 Diversity & Inclusion Champi-on Awards at a June 18 dinner to celebrate the organi-zation’s 30 years of efforts to promote diversity.
