Beginning on October 30, 2009, all students will be required to confirm
their age. This prompt will display only once per student user as long asthey complete the required action.
If students indicate that they are older than 13, they will be directed into
the Student Center and will not be prompted with this question again.
If students indicate that they are younger than 13:
They will be asked to enter a parent's e-mail address. DE will send an
e-mail to the parent with notification that their child is utilizing
www.discoveryeducation.com site.
If students cannot provide a parent's e-mail address, they will access to
print a PDF version of the email to give to their parents.
Upon entering their parent's e-mail address or printing the PDF,
students will be directed into the Student Center. They will not be
prompted with this request again.
